Chief technical officer and founder of VISENSO, having 20 years of experience in the field of visualization of numeric simulations - an excellent basis for the innovation  of visualization and virtual reality (VR) solutions at the highest level.

The doctor of engineering knows the capabilities of the software COVISE on an academic basis as well as from practical experiences.

From 1991 to 1998, he contributed as a scientific officer at the visualization branch of the high performance computer center of the university of Stuttgart, and to the development of COVISE.

Mr. Wierse knows about the industries requirements from several projects: from 1995 on, he applied COVISE in the research center of the Porsche AG in Weissach - together with partners like the Deutsche Telekom or the engineering consultants ARUP from London, who are world famous for the construction of the Sydney opera house.

The combination of scientific expertise and practical know-how from several research projects with well-known industrial partners have made the VR-professional a widely demanded speaker at workshops and conferences where he presents on visualization and CAE-data.

"I am fascinated by the innovational potential of software for visualization and virtual reality for the industry. The ideas of our customers are our challenges and at the same time our future", describes Wierse his motivations.

Chief financial officer and founder of VISENSO. Beeing one of the pioneers of technological transfers in Baden-Württmberg, VISENSO benefits from his experience in the software business. His work over the last several decades produced applications for several industrial sectors.

Mr. Zimmermann layed the foundation of his career in technology in 1989, when he started as a mercantile executive officer at the MetaTech GmbH in St. Georgen. MetaTech emerged during the 80s as a part of an initiative of the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Steinbeis foundation, aimed at supporting the technological transfer between research and industry.

Here, the finance expert learned about the demand for software tools for aerial and space technology as well as engineering.

MetaTech developed highly innovative object oriented software. For  Dornier and the Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen for example.

Other professional milestones were the creation of a software company for the Allianz Holding AG, which grew to 180 empoyees within only a few years, the integration of an IT systems vendor for a consulting company, as well as an internet platform for a leading building company.

Since 2001, Mr. Zimmermann has been working as an executive officer in the field of VR technologies. The objective of the sales and marketing expert is to  have COVISE utilized in the whole range of fields for which it is applicable.

"To acquire goal-oriented, creative and effective solutions for customers in this highly innovative technology sector and to jointly realize them is an exciting task", is how Martin Zimmermann describes his activities at VISENSO.
